Generation 2:
Alexander Wilson Jr and Eunice Charlotte Seeley
Alexander Wilson Jr-2 (Alexander Wilson and Jane Armour-1, Robert Wilson-A) was born on 25 Nov 1764 in USA, NY, New York, New York City. Between his father's death in 1771 and 1776, he moved from New York City to USA, NY, Rensselaer, Lansingburg, with his mother and sister. Alexander was about 11 years old when the Revolutionary War began in 1775, and was about 19 years old when it ended in 1783. It is not believed that he served in the War. He trained to be a minister, perhaps in the Presbyterian faith, in USA, NY, New York, New York City. After completing his ministerial training, he apparently moved to USA, NY, Saratoga, Charlton. There he met and married Eunice Charlotte Seeley. Although Eunice's father, Stephen Seeley, fought in the Revolutionary War, he became a Quaker, and raised his family in that faith. Alexander read Eunice's books about the Quaker beliefs, and became a Quaker minister. He was also a farmer in USA, NY, Saratoga, Charlton.
After 1840, but probably before 1843, Alexander and Eunice's younger son, William Armour Wilson went to visit his brother, Stephen Melvin Wilson, and sister, Ruth (Wilson) Mead, who had settled in USA, NY, Niagara County before 1830. When William returned home, he urged his parents to move to Niagara County. All of the Wilson family still in Saratoga County moved to Niagara County before 1843. Alexander and Eunice lived with William on the Slash (now Maple) Road in USA, NY, Niagara, Wilson.
Alexander died at the age of 83 years on 29 Sep 1848 at William's home, and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, USA, NY, Niagara, Wilson.
