In 1942 he was living with his sister, Harriet M/R "Hattie" (Wilson) (Heim) Hyde in USA, OR, Clackamas, Oregon City, and working at a cleaners. He died at the age of 79 years on 25 Feb 1969 in USA, CA, Los Angeles County, and was buried in Rose Hills Memorial Park, USA, CA, Los Angeles, Whittier.
