"ANDRES - Dorothy J. (nee Wilson) Andres, age 88, of Lockport and formerly of the City of Tonawanda Sept. 11, 1995 after a brief illness. Born in the Town of Newfane, she had been a resident of the City of Tonawanda for more than 50 years and was the wife of the late Edwin W. Andres and grandmother of the late Cynthia R. Doel. Mother of Robert R. (* * *) Doel of Orlando, Fla. and * * *. Sister of Grace P. Woods of Lockport and Bert (Virginia) Wilson of Burt, N.Y. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., Morgan, William and Broad streets, City of Tonawanda, where services will be held Friday at 9:45 a.m. Friends invited. Burial in Elmlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Salem United Church of Christ, Morgan and Main streets, Tonawanda, N.Y. 14150."

"NORTH TONAWANDA - Dorothy J. (nee Wilson) Andres, 88, a waitress, died Sept. 11, 1995, after a brief illness.

"Born Aug. 23, 1907, in Newfane, she was the daughter of Allen D. Wilson and Jessie Adelaide Darling Wilson.

"She had been a resident of the city of Tonawanda for more than 50 years and was the wife of the late Edwin W. Andres and grandmother of the late Cynthia R. Doel.

"She had been a resident of the Briarwood Manor for the past two years.

"She was employed as a waitress at the Hotel Statler for 25 years and at Hengerer's Tea Room for many years.

"She was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ, Tonawanda, for 50 years.

"Surviving are * * *, Robert (* * *) Doel of Orlando, Fla. * * *; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Grace P Woods of Lockport; a brother, Bert (Virginia) Wilson of Burt and many nieces and nephews.

"Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tonight at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan, William and Broad streets, Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 9:45 a.m. Friday.
