Pearl (Baker) (Eggert) Morris died on 23 Jan 1994 in USA, NE, Lincoln, North Platte.

Obituary:

"Alta Pearl Morris, 76, who retired from nursing in 1985, died Jan. 23, 1994, at her home.

"She was born Aug. 23, 1917, near Tryon to Seeley Atlee and Bessie Lenore (Chamberlain) Baker and was raised in North Platte, graduating from North Platte High School in 1936. She completed one year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and nurses' school at Alliance. She taught school at Wellfleet.

"She marred George H. Eggert on Nov. 24, 1938. He died in 1950.

"On Oct. 3, 1958, she married Floyd O. Morris in Kearney.

"She was a charter member of the LPN Association and the Parliamentarians Association, which she had served as president, secretary, and treasurer.

"A member of Westfield Foursquare Gospel Church, she taught high school and adult Sunday school classes for 26 years.

"She was also a member of AARP, RSVP, Heart Association and the policy board for the senior center. She had worked with the American Cancer Society.

"Survivors include her husband of North Platte; five [children]; three [stepchildren]; two sisters, Mildred Hall of North Platte and Cora Bell Howard of Westminster, Calif., a brother, Seeley Baker of Bay City, Ore.; 34 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.

"Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Westfield Foursqaure Gospel Church with the Rev. Jerry Skinner officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.

"A memorial has been established to the church or the Heart Association.

"Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."


Funeral Announcement 1:

"Services for Alta Pearl Morris will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Westfield Foursquare Gospel Church with the Rev. Jerry Skinner officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.

"Mrs. Morris, 76, died Jan. 23, 1994, at her home.

"A Memorial has been established to the church and the Heart Association.

"Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."


Funeral Announcement 2:

"Services for Alta Pearl Morris were Wednesday at the Westfield Foursqaure Gospel Church with the Rev. Jerry Skinner officiating. Music was by Frank Stewart and Lloyd Synovec.

"Pallbearers were Don Goosey, Jerry Gosnell, Dave Julich, Harld and Merle Reeves and Harvey Schultz. Honorary pallbearers were Bernard Gosnell, Harold Krovas, Jack Schultz and Harold Woodward.

"Burial was in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens.

"Mrs. Morris, 76, died January 23, 1994, at her home.

"A memorial has been established to the church or the Heart Association.

"Adams and Swanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
