"December 1963. Clifford Baker dies today. Clifford B. Baker, 43, of 1605 West Fifth, died in a North Platte Hospital late Thursday morning. He was born April 21, 1920 in North Platte and was an electrician for the Union Pacific Railroad. He had lived his entire life in North Platte with the exception of a short time he spent in the United States Air Force during World War Two. He hired out to the railroad in 1946. He was a member of all Masonic bodies in North Platte, Tehamam Temple in Hastings, Signet Chapter No. 55 of the Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

"Survivors include his wife; [children]; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Seeley Baker Sr., of North Platte; one brother Seeley A. Baker, Jr. of North Platte; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Hall and Mrs. Alta Morris of North Platte and Mrs. Cora Belle Howard of Stanton, Calif.

"Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Adams and Swanson Chapel with the Rev. Robert Williams of the First Baptist Church officiating.

"Burial will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Masonic rites at gravesite."
