"Pauline D. Foulk, age 94, of Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at Drews Village Green in Hillsdale. She was born March 21, 1912 in St. Joe County, Michigan to Herschel & Ida (Culow) Chamberlain. On July 3, 1940 she married Floyd Foulk and her preceded her in 1991.
"At the age of 55 Pauline was a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science Degree. She retired in 1972 from Jonesville Community Schools where she was a elementary teacher for many years. She was a member of the Jonesville United Methodist Church, Jonesville Child Study Group, Investigators Club, Delta Kappa Gamma, and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
"Pauline is survived by [her three children]; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a [sibling]; a brother, Willis (Wife) Chamberlain of Schoolcraft, and [another relative].
"Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd, brother Clare and brother-in-law, Richard Bickle.
"Memorial services for Pauline Foulk will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2006 at the Jonesville United Methodist Church with Pastor Craig Pahl officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until services at 11:00 at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville.
"In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Jonesville United Methodist Church, Jonesville District Library or the Grosvenor House Museum."
