"North Tonawanda - Charles L. Lindsay, 68, father of a Lockport woman, died Sunday, June 9, 1985, at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

"Born here March 26, 1917, he was the son of Burt and Mabel Lindsay.

"A World War II veteran, he was a retired millwright, working with the B.F. Goodrich Chemical Co., Niagara Falls, for 32 years.

"He was a member and past president of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

"Surviving are his wife, Luella Quester Lindsay; [his children]; three grandchildren; a [sibling], and several nieces and nephews.

"Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home, Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Road, tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

"Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Redeemer Lutheran Church.

"Burial will be in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery.

"Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour or the Heart Fund."

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from Redeemer Lutheran Church. Interment in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour or the Heart Fund."
