"Jessie F. Voelker, age 78, of Lockport, NY, wife of the late Harold 'Stiffy' Voelker entered into rest Friday, June 21, 2002 in Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She was born in Newfane, NY May 13, 1924 the daughter of the late Lester and Lorna Peaker Taylor. She married Harold 'Stiffy' Voelker Janury 10, 1948 in Newfane. He died August 2, 2001.
"She has lived in the Newfane-Lockport area all of her life. Member of First Baptist Church in Lockport, NY, member of Lockport Historical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, Kenan Arts Council, Lockport Senior Citizens Bid Pitch Club and Tuesday Night Womans Golf League at Pro-Am Golf Course in Newfane. She enjoyed golfing, traveling and her family and friends.

"Friends may call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY Sunday 7-9 and Monday 2-4 & 7-9pm where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00am. The Rev. Richard Viel will officiate. Burial will be in Acacia Park Cemetery. Memorials to a charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family."
