"Helen Miller, 74, Newfane Native

"NEWFANE - Helen Miller, 74, a native of Newfane, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1991, in the Inter-Community Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

"Born in Newfane June 3, 1917, she was the daughter of Roy K. and Ida Mae Chase Wilson.

"She wed Albert O. "Jake" Miller on June 14, 1934, in Westfield. He died last Feb. 3.

"Mrs. Miller was an exempt member of the Miller Hose Fire Co. ladies auxiliary and member of the UAW and Faith Lutheran Church.

"She worked 17 years at Harrison in Lockport, retiring in 1966.

"Surviving are [her children]; two brothers, Robert K. Wilson of Hazelett and Roy K. Wilson Jr, of Lockport; a sister-in-law, * * *; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

"Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, 2670 Main St.

"Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery.

"Memorials may be made to the church or hospital development fund."

Mother of [her children]; sister of Robert K. Wilson of Hazelett and Roy K. Wilson Jr. of Lockport; sister-in-law of * * *. Also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends my call at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 2570 Main Street, Newfane, Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery. Memorials to the Faith Lutheran Church or the ICMH development fund would be appreciated by the family."
