About Capt Nathaniel Seeley
A Find-a-Grave Memorial for Capt Nathaniel Seeley says that he is buried in the mass grave for those killed in the Great Swamp Fight during King Philip's War. Because Nathaniel died from wounds he received in that battle, this burial place is logical. However, contemptorary reports of the battle indicate that he did not die immediately from his wounds. The question is whether he survived long enough to have been buried in some other place. At present, we have found no records, if any exist, of the names of the men buried in the mass grave.
