About Nathaniel Seeley
From The Seeley Genealogical Society:
"On Mar. 1, 1728/29, Ephraim Jackson, Nathaniel Seeley, Elizabeth E Seeley and Ann Jackson, sold their shares in the estate of Joseph Jackson, to Thomas and Sarah Morehouse. This consisted of the home lot, house and the barn in Fairfield.
"On April 15, 1725, Nathaniel Seeley of Fairfield sold to William Sterling, his portion of land that had been granted to his great grandfather, Nathaniel Seeley of Fairfield, in Feb. 1673.
"Nathaniel's will was dated Sep. 17, 1784; names grand-daughter Rebeckah Jennings, daughter Elizabeth Jennings, Catee and Jemime daughters of son Samuel, dec'd, Tabitha Lacy daughter of dec'd daughter Sarah, Kezia and Abigail daughters of son Ephraim dec'd. Ebenezer, Sarah, Catee and Abigail all children of daughter Ann Lord dec'd. Son Ezra appointed executor. The will was disapproved Aug. 1, 1791.
"Inventory of Nathaniel's estate was taken Aug. 21, 1786. Distribution was made Dec. 4, 1786 to Nathaniel, Hezekiah and Ezra Seeley, heirs of Ephraim and Samuel Seeley, Elizabeth Jennings, wife of Nehemiah Jennings, heirs of Sarah Hubbel and Ann Lord. Messrs: Josiah Lacy, Nathan Seeley and Robert Wilson all of Fairfield district."
