Oscar Loewenthal (Amelia Bennett and Segismundo Loewenthal) was born on 3 May 1880 in Germany, Hamburg. His parents moved to England before 1891, and he became a British citizen. He studied engineering in England and Germany. In 1903 he traveled from England to USA, PA, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, en route to Mexico, where he worked as an engineer at a silver mine. He later moved to South America, where he designed, built, and managed railroads. He was granted permanent residency in Argentina, where he died at the age of 66 years in 1946.
Oscar married second, Alice Lucinda Jenkins, Nora's sister. He married third, Adeline Josephine.
