Millard C Bivvins-7 (Leon W Bivvins-6, DeWitt Clinton Bivvins-5, Rosilla Chamberlain-4, Cynthia Wilson-3, Alexander Wilson Jr-2, Alexander Wilson and Jane Armour-1) was born on 20 Dec 1924 in USA, MI, St Joseph, Flowerfield. He was inducted into the US Army on 28 Apr 1944 at USA, IL, Lake County, Fort Sheridan. He served with General George Patton's Third Army in the 319th Infantry Regiment of the 80th Infantry Division. He attained the rank of Sergeant. He was wounded twice during action in Germany, and was later reported as missing in action. On 23 Apr 1945, his wife was notified that he was killed in action on 2 Apr 1924 near Kassel, Hessen, Germany. He was 20 years old. His body was returned to the USA, and, on 14 Jun 1945, he was buried in the Military Services section of Bly Cemetery, USA, MI, Cass, Marcellus.
