All went to Phoenix tired enough eve, young folks & Ben went to Petersons i for evening I to bed we took dinner with Mr. & Mrs. Gooch i

Dear Ones at home

This leaves us all OK this Thursday morning fine & cool but it gets hot in middle of day in sun but lots of shade here & watter in irrigating ditches every where got out Monday at midnight & helped to irigate 10 acres of barley that is just coming up sown for pasture Mother ordered me to write so I am at it she is writing

will write to Flemming i today if you do not hear from him in a week after getting this you better pay Horton ii part any way there will be money coming in in time for County taxes in Jan - got check for int on Bond all O.K. you said you settled with Dunsten iii good there will be an insurance tax of about $29.00 this mo I think there will be Lime & sulphor money iv also fertilizer money a little later if you get any extry money put it in Wilson Bank & let me know the amount as we are going broke before long too bad about Hank v cant realize he is gone. I had so much to tell him we sure have seen some country some fine & some oh well you cant know do not know when we will leave here but within a week I expect

this is a rich Valley some 200 000 acres under Irigation Alfalfa & cotton cotton bringing $.40 and growers feeling good last year’s crop lays in the yards right on ground in open thousands of bales 400# to bale helped Painters load 5 bales took to town last years crop brought $911.00 loads going by with 5 mules on wagons as big as freight car hauling loose cotton to gin to get seed out & boll I supose mother has told you all this before. have you had frost. how is apple market saw in paper you had wind storm did it blow many off how was the peach market did they git them away in O.K. order also tomatoes did the factory get what they wanted so many changes wont know the neighbors when back

This is a fine morn. dishes done men separating milk Juanita just up the young folks & grandpa went to Phoenix to a show I just cant be out much nights we or some of us go to Phoenix today take children to school then go on. I have got dad writing so wont write much myself. suppose he will tell all the news not many to tell hope you got the dates O.K. I don’t think many of your letters went wrong. if there is any thing pa don’t tell you I will next time I write
