Letter Sent Home
Dear Folks
Well I will scribble a few lines this eve. as Bill & Juanita Jim & Margurite i have gone to league meeting ii & besides tomorrow is wash day & if I understood right, Bill Juanita & Roys (J brother) iii go to Phoenix about 8 A.M. but expect she will do her washing first they get up about four o’clock have break about 5:30 then they go & milk while we do dishes. before that time it is light enough to see in the house without light. then its get three iv started for school they take them 3 mile to Tempe. what has become of our children v you have not mentioned them in quite a while. I was informed today that Juanita did not know whether she would go this week or not so I don’t know. I feel pretty good but if scales agree I have lost 4 lb. (148) oh but it is so hot just fierce today. I don’t know what to say about Xmas how do you feel about it & think about it. I do not imagine we will be home unless sickness comes one place or other I tell you right now I wish it was cooler. what is the weather home & what are the apples amounting to. it is 8 o’clock & the sweat is going down in streams I have my pink dress on & just as few other cloths as I dare ware. Poor Mary D- vi it is hard. I got a letter from her yes. 4 days for a letter to come. we can’t realize Hank has gone yet he looked so bad when we left. I was afraid he was getting bad. when is Uncle Will vii going to start for Cal. send mail here till I send new address well it is getting bed time. wish you all well. write all the news.
