Dear Ones.
Well I tho’t perhaps you would like to know your old mammy was standing her diet I will say right here I get pretty weak before the next meal today I go on table three. 2 eggs 2 slices bacon about so thick _____ I got that too thick (about like that before fried) cup black coffee for break. dinner same as before only 2 1/2 oz. meat 2 teas. olive oil. supper same as table 2. that is some better. well to cap the climax yes. P.M. P- i wanted to go down town, so of course I must go. none of them realize how weak I am. so to be a sport I went we had all kinds of excitement. a woman came so near running in us her hub cap caught our left front tire tore it off & that blew a slit in our inner tube about 8 inches long then soon after pa turned to the left & a police got after him & bawled him out. well P & I got out & pa had to keep moving no parking cars after 4 P.M. Golda (Ellis wife) & the two little girls ii went down with us. P & I went in store & I was desperate I bo’t the first coat that fit me a dark brown loose back & sleaves fur colar $29.75 well then we went out where we were to meet the rest of the bunch. we stood on corner about an hour (maby not) I was ready to drop any way then P & I took street car & come home. the rest come about an hour after. we had supper & I went to bed with a headache & all in. Dr. & wife i called in even. & he almost scolded & said I must not do such stunts it was to critical a time. I might go for a short ride in a quiet section but not down town. Pa is cleaning the rugs with vacum but not a “Hoover” no brush in just suction. all rest are busy at Sat. work. Dr called this morn. sample no sugar yes. he talks encouraging wish I had more Faith being cured its kinder blue to me. but you know I am one of the blue kind.
