Dear ones all

Well this is the last time I will write you this month we come over to Len’s yes. P.M. they were both down at their place of business one on duty while the other went to lunch. Pa & I talked with them awhile then got in “Old Lizzie” & drove 9 miles along the Ocean front did not get to end of road then. Maby will finish it today. Now before I forget it I wish you would try to find one of the post card pict. that pa took at Clarence of just the Canadian cousins Len’s mother is in it. I had one card of each pa took at Ellens this year Len was so glad to see them so I gave them to him & told him I would get him one of Clarence. I think you will find one in the drawer up stairs (please). Len is making an orange machien he is going to sell & make his fortune. (hope so) that’s why she has been tending the stand & he working at that. May is over to the store & the men have gone down town to get something to work with. don’t know when we will go back to Los Angeles maby tomorrow. we waited till P.M. yes. but no mail (we will go to Redondo soon & hunt Moonstones with Nettie. this will be a nice day at the beach. yes. was cold & cloudy. too awfull cold nights to camp. a fire & inside feels best. its a much warmer house here than Steve’s. I am fine Dr. said Mon. P.M. he did not believe I ever had “Diabetes” Joking he found no sugar at all. he said I might have one slice of white bread a day plain or toast. I told him I ate half a potato one slice bread & dish of peaches Sun. he said when I eat bread no potato. banana’s & potatoes are the two worst things I can eat. so I will go very light on them both well May is back & fixing “chili beans” for dinner (supper). she has to get things ready in morn. for night. pa & I will take care of ourselves while they are working. then evens Ross (their boy) stays at stand. not very busy now after “Labor Day” their rush is over. just like Olcott only the Beach never close up to tight. well news are getting low & I want to copy off receipts its not polite to refuse when they offer you receipts. so Hoping you are all. I will get busy. it is 10.15 time for to open up so I will close up.

Love to all. Mom & Dad
