picked up & packed. B drew 2 load wood then packed car. Bonnie over. cold this morn. everything covered with frost. sun shown all day
Letter Sent Home
Dear Children
at last I have a P.P. box tied up a lot of stuff that have collected but do not open till the little ones are all there they will enjoy it (maby). we are getting packed for Valley Center in the morn. we will try & leave 7 o’clock that will give us 50 min. to get there in. will write you. about Sun. can tell you more then. its warm today in the sun, bear sees his shadow here today allright & old Jack Frost was here this morn. the roofs looked as if they were covered with snow. pa has been gathering wood two loads this A.M. (Steve bo’t). Bonnie is here I can’t write. we are both feeling fine. I bo’t an outing flannel night dress this morn. (Sunny Calif.) sun does shine when it don’t rain & its mighty cold to. we went to Nettie’s tues. morn. Wed. morn. we left went down town (Los Angeles) then back here & found your letter (Jan 23) sorry Hazel is having such a time. if there is any thing in the box any of you can use do so Hope it gets to you in good shape. hope all are well.
