lovely day J went to town nothing new going on B 1 ctail 2 jacks
Letter Sent Home
Dear ones all. . .
J- going to town this P.M. did not guess such a thing untill he sat down to dinner. so its hustle we expect to leave here fri. or Sat. want to run around a little before going to Los A. wrote P- yes. to hold our mail. rec. yours yes. telling about W- am sorry to hear about it. hope it is his diet & he gets better. I am not worring I could do nothing if I was home glad you told me I don’t want to loose trust in you. we are both feeling very good. I have used my new medicine. don’t know which it is that or less work any way I rest better anyway. its nice & warm here fairly hot this week last week we froze. now about turkeys only two or three times we see them out here they have to make a tight fence now maby I could in some way swipe (from government) some turkey buzzards they are all black & have a red head like turkeys thats where they get their name. the men are busy most of time Whit is not here today W- is working team pa here & there J- going to town guess pa & I no go mit we must begin to pick & pack or we will be scattered all over Cal. Kate Wilson Phillips mother is in San Francisco maby we can find her & say “hello,” Emma Kruse Lenrich is in Los A- we used to play together. will take us a month to visit around yet. when we leave here we no come back its 11 miles of our road unless it rains Uncle W-s boil has grown some its twice as big as its Photo with two cores & pa has one about as large right behind his right ear but he don’t pay any attention to his only to pinch it. well J- is ready so must ring off for this time hope you are all well. the trees & fields are all blossoming out oh I will have so much to tell you if we ever get home hope so.
