drove around city. P.O. mailed box home pine needles &c tried to find cousin Clara i had to wait for Ellis ii to come home then camped by a house on vacant lot on hill about 1 doz children come to our camp windy could look over city


Card Sent Home


Dear ones all,

We are sending the P.P. box today the Ivy G are so pretty here & the other for hanging basket it likes the sun it grows on all the Terraces here & is one mass of flowers can’t see the plant. the pine needles let dry in the shade to hold their color maby better untie them the nuts are walnuts we picked up in camp “Glendora” yes. we found the Hibby family their mother was cousin Tom’s sister did not stay long as they were going out to dinner one girl reminds you of Hazel. Tom has a sister in Oakland (Amelia) we will try to see when we go back today is purching (beat that) I have one piece kaki dress corsets was shod & got some strawberries oh but it was cold last night in the wind. its real warm today. pa is writing Bill. this is a up & down hilly city we had a look at the Ocean yes. this P.M. we want to rubber around. want to find Kate Phillip’s mother (cousin Clara) both well. Love to all. Mother & Father
