left Greeley 8 A.M. stopped in Osowatomie gas then in Paola. & then in Olatha got dinner under a mill shed then started hunt for W. Hayne (R.3) i at P.O. got directions 4 mi east 1 north found Will & Hazel there Ida in Kan. City but got home about 6
Letter Sent Home
Dear ones all.
went to Camp gr. & had our dinner. now the search begins pa has gone to look in tel. book one thing nice about it we have all P.M. before dark. we left Greeley this morn. 8 50 mi. here roads good. enjoyed the trip very much. Olatha is quite a town (4500) this Kan. sun is hot. pa just reported. not in tel. book has gone again. we were with Mabel two nts. & Till two nts. Grace & husband come to Greeley yes. so we all (I mean 5 of us) visited. the other daug’t had gone on a trip so did not see her at all. all are in their usual good health. expect letter waiting our arrival in K.C. think we will go in tomorrow. pa just come by has tab on Hayne’s 5 mi. out north & east. he went to P.O. so we are off before we forget direction. hope you all well we are pretty good for hot weather.
