Dear ones all
I don’t suppose you care if I do write again today I forgot to say yes.we intended to go by way Dixon Ill. to find Raleigh Ortt Hannah Ortt’s father, Uncle Elias son but (may not) & cousin Dave Ortt is at a town Mull near Detroit we may not go there either (they are Ortt) but the Wilsons I try to let pa have his say where to go &c but if this fierce hot weather keeps on I will have something to say. Fannie was here (Kate Rebaz Sander’s our head quarters) our plans are to call on Frank Hayne this P.M. Burt Hayne from 5:30 to 7 then to lunch with Fannie & meet her hubby. then in morn. travel but realy can’t tell where we will light. well pa come with “Liz” last night about 5:30 cost him about 5 dollars the man was real nice did not get the least excited said his wife told him she was all to blame (oh will tell you all about it when I get chance) (her time is shorter than I guessed according to his say) whether it was the scare or diet my legs cramped last night Oh, I rather camp than visit I can get what I ought to eat better. well maby I will stand it. I have frizzled down to 142. you must of spoke a good word for our plant if they want to publish it good. pa is studding geography this morn. so as to be sure not to go west. pa just got off of chair & the seat of his pants looks as if he had an accident. but when he come last night he had had a real one he put both hands on the seat of his pants & come to the door then kept his face to us all (or tried to) how Adalee & Kate laughed as well as the little girls. Kate has three sweet little girls. pa took the canvas & made a tent they are having a fine time there are so many children around this corner they all play togather & they get so thick in tent they (Kates girls) have to send some home but they soon come back (about a dozen all told) well now if I write to much I wont have anything to tell. pa keeps reminding me of the fact no danger of him telling to much expect I can’t tell anything when home for his gabble. so long. love to all let us hear about reunion as soon as you can you ought to see Edd. & Louise Small must notify them can phone her
