up early camped Odessa, Mo. beside L. Venita i where there was lots of the same music & dancing went to sleep when both stopped left camp 8. thru Odessa Higginsville Marshall (dinner) Ferry at Glasgow (Mo. R.) ii boat ready to go muddy stream roads better east of Mo. R. stopped in Moberly, Mo. (eats) on thru corn belt oh what corn clover near Paris not so good 138 mi
