visited P.M. went to Nans i for supper then back to Henry’s all night
Letter Sent Home
Dear Children...
We are still touring Ill. we are out to Manhattan. come yes. P.M. Thurs. we went to Plainfield spend day with Mattie back to Joliet stayed all night then called on Maggie & family fri. A.M. then went to Iva’s for dinner. Mattie come out too. P.M. out here & Mattie with us. this P.M. we go to Nan’s (Charley’s wife) to supper. Frank (Mattie’s bro.) is here painting cousin Henry’s house so we see him here. tomorrow we intend to call on three or four families & if possible we leave Joliet Monday morn. 28th for Detroit or Pontiac will be our next stop still expect to call in Niles not long tho’. 16th suits us fine expect to be home to attend. I am going to write cousin Henry to come (quick) Cousin Henry here has had another bad spell but us able to walk around house its much cooler since electric storm Thurs. night. feeling very good but want to get HOME
