broke camp (after three nights) 8:30 got gas & oil traveled on toward Williams when within 19 miles come to a pretty little lake with ducks on went to the house & asked permission to fish & hunt Bill went after fish & Ben after ducks we had fish for supper & duck (5 of them) for breakfast in morn. Bill come in the second time with 5 more fish but gave them away camped there by lake on "Howard Ranch" In Williams had roast beef dinner Bill fixed wheel 45 mi

Well pa & the rest went to the Colorado River & washed his feet.

I went half way & waited their return. "Linda" shook me up. my sore spot commenced to hurt. pa rode Grace. we have been here three nights we feel so at home we hate to leave. it is now 9 o’clock we are down at the garage draining out oil & going to get gas then travel on. this has been a short week we are all fine I can ride but walking gets me excuse post cards. my env. Bill going to P.O. so will quit hope you are all well I will soon hear from you I hope so long
