Mary's Journal Entry
Fine rest & fine camp. free wood big pile of it water toilets all so nice & clean tables under cover cooked our break of ham on a place a large fire place in center an oven on one side & a place for cooking on other side. ate our break. under cover & washed our dishes in a real sink 8 camps last night. we had good rest looked over papers & left grounds 11:45 on thru orange & lemon groves arrived in Los Angeles 2:15 drove 27 miles found camp in Jim’s camp had dinner then packed all in our car & went for a ride. Dr. Wilson i not at home. back to camp & went to bed

Dear ones staid at the camp the finest yet all feeling fine & sleep good got clasps in Phenix for back of seat just like B could not find them ? this country is a sight fruits of all kinds all sun shine cooler here at night fine to sleep Pa & Ma
