Dear Ones all

Perhaps I have not explained as I should how I come to Dr the reason was my teeth oh they were so sore when in Tempe I used listerine wholesale did not help them my gums were all swolen up & my jaws ached so my back teeth were getting as sore as front ones & would bleed if I chewed & they were no better when I got here. of course naturally I tho’t they had puss at roots & I was just drove to do something. Harry iv said he would xray & see if they were so that is the way it all come about

when he talked strict diet we had quite a talk & he said I was strong enough to stand it & he would test me every day & might be I could eat what I had not been able to before. oh yes my throat got so bad I worried about it I could think of nothing but poor Hatt v the way she commenced. so all together I was drove to the examination. he said my throat was due to the poison of my teeth caused by outside infection & had me rub my gums hard with Peroxide diluted & it sure did help me. well I tho’t as long as I was in it I might as well try so I went on diet 5 meals I had broth & black coffee. well then he commenced to give me more to eat as I was sugar free but I was weak & I told Pa we would put one over on him so I had him go to butcher shop & get dried beef he got a lb.& I put it in my suitcase under the head of my bed & when I felt so faint I took a chew & it was not long before I took two chews & no sugar then I commenced to eat more veg than he ordered & no bad effect & I would not be surprised if I ate more than 3 oz. of meat to a meal (bum guesser) so Sat. morn. he said we would try gluten & I had a gem for dinner. Sun. when we went to Beach I ate 2 & a tomato I made the dried beef disappear when we got back 4 oclock. no bad reports from gluten & I feel so much stronger now. so much so I did a little wash this morn. the heaviest like Pa’s night shirt colored shirt & kakia (thats not right) pants I sent to Laundry. we want to go to store this P.M. maby buy out the whole business then we will have sewing to do on this bum machine. I made pa a tool roll out of heavy canvas & 30 thread yesterday & me a traveling bag with pockets & it run like a top believe me its not the machine but I dare not say anything. well new dear girlie I guess I have told you all & perhaps I had told you some things the second time. if I have “forget it”

I asked H- if I should keep on with Cellasin so he looked over the bottle & I gave him the pamphlet to read then next day he said he believed them O.K. & to take them. well this morn. pa asked him if he did not think they were what kept my stomache in such good condition & he said no doubt. then he told of a lady patient he had that was bad had no appetite could not eat anything unless it distressed her & she was no nervous he could not wash out her stomache. so after reading the pamphlet he phoned a drug store. yes they had them so he gave the lady some. that was over a week ago & now she is eating more & gets hungry & better. Oh I am so glad I gave him the pamphlet. we have pink med. neither have taken the first dose. one bottle I had in suitcase come open & you may know what I had the bottle was empty when I found it. well now I have written all I can think of just now & the mail has come so this wont go till P.M. the papers come today your letter yesterday with one from Mary D- vi & one from OLIVE. vii glad to hear from all. I just read over your letter again dear child I have tried always to tell you the truth & want you to do the same by me. for some reason you have evaded one question I have asked you three or four times & that is how is Wilfred of that trouble he had. viii so far you have kept silent well I had rather you would if you can’t tell me the truth. I expect you have my letter of questions by this time that will give you something to write about. it is quiet here. that dad of yours is on the go all day & some times evenings too. this P.M. he has gone some where north with Steve. it is little cooler today. funny climate cold in morn. you need coat & middle of day baking. I hope we can get around somewhere soon. Bill wants to fix a chicken coop into a garage or just a place to keep his car pa is waiting around to help him as soon as he gets lumber. I can’t crochet much it hurts my eyes & they are worth more than fancy work to me. I did not think yes. when I wrote I would have anything to write today. your pop corn string suggestion is very good. a little stinky bag (1/2 lb. bag) 5¢ would ?? to try it long enough to get what I wanted to eat (on the sly) but I wont have to pop & sell too dad would not have time to hang around. its all I can do to get him to write a little. well P- & I are ready to go to store 2 1/2 blocks away so here goes. Hope you are all well. don’t worry about me I am coming all right (if I can get dried beef what a choke). I am not going to starve diet or no diet.

Love to you all. Mother

I am afraid the real estate business is not very paying no sale in over two weeks & advertising all the time he must pay for that.
