got up at sun up buildings white with frost not another car in camp under Euliptus trees table in camp toilets across road water not much wood but Euliptus leaves burn fine had break. boiled eggs & hot coffee. Ben on bum boil in his nose. shredded w & hot milk for his break. we left as school child. were coming to school. B went in drug store after film come out & said everyone knew J.P. this morn. so we sailed on over plains & mts. (glad we did not try to come out last night) after inquiring 4 times found his ranch. B looked around & found his Hump i with J. P. Romig’s name on name plate so we camped our car under “live oaks” how the wind blew. J.P. down drilling oats he come up about 11 drill didn’t work B fooled him a few minutes then smiled & he knew us had dinner & J.P. finished oats wind went down toward night
