up at 8 breakfast left camp 9:30 for boat left dock 10 A.M. arrived Catalina 12:20 went to Hotel Atwood i left suitcase dinner tomato soup roast leg of lamb potatoes & gravey lettuce salad, sweet corn, rolls & butter, tea, apple pie. went out an strolled along the beach got shells some “Abilone” & back to Hotel. supper beef stake stewed tom. peas, baked potatoes, rolls, bread butter tea. B ice cream. I celery harts. sit around, took walk till show opened. went in saw “Black beauty” ii good. out 9. then went to bed good & tired. fine Hotel nice & clean (indigestion) nice day, warm

come on this boat not sicky. Jan. 11. 22 We are here because we came. arrived at 12.20 had Dinner then around the beach found a few little shells. this island is mountainous. 10 a.m. tomorrow we go on glass bottom boat. 3 p.m. we steam back to Wilmington where we started from. Steves think we are at Redondo. ha. ha. Ma and Pa
