bright morn. windy stayed around house all day
Letter Sent Home
Dear ones all-
I am out of Easter cards. tho’t you might make these do (we ate eggs every day any way) we come out here to Nettie’s Friday, P.M. left Steves 3:30 P.M. going to go back early in morning B- wants to help Leon in garage he has a job. he helped look our car over. this no doubt will be our last visit out here (Nettie kicks but) I would like to help P- make a couple of dresses this week. Dr. Harry made a test Tues. Thursday morn, be come our way & said Well Aunt Mary “sugar free.” I guess you’r cured (but I am to keep on diet). trying whole wheat bread. will be a great change & so much better for traveling. hope it works eating nearly all kinds of vegetables & feeling fine. guess new med. helps “Newritus” am pretty easy any way & been sewing too. who did you take to Shawnee to see Minnie besides Edith Clara Smith wrote Nettie you & Will were to see Minnie with company. chicken & noodles for dinner & it is ready. How do you get along with your hired help don’t be afraid to ask her to do things & teach her to do it neat & clean. hope you wont have the experience we had with Charlie & Emma is there any thing doing, out of news. same a lone gobbler yes.only thing in shape of a turkey we have seen. we pay 45 for butter & 25 for eggs will take a good supply of eggs from here. want to go to Venice next week Harry & Laura writes Tom & Maria are just fine (good)
