hot. rested well took pict. went fishing nil break. packed, out camp got gass then took trail up up first checking sta (no one there) took pict. on we went over more mts. at last came to valley I pushed uphill 4 times saw 10 deer on way in took pict. of one before entering valley had to wait for 4 buses to come up. oh yes, we come thru snow lots of it been shoveled thru 8 ft. high. rained hard roads rough, got to register station about 5 o’clock drove 3 or 4 mi. then to town Sup office he had assigned us to camp 16. eve. we went to Camp Curry i listened to program & saw fire balls ii from Glacier point. fine
