Mon May 22 -- left camp 6:30 for Mariposa big trees i got there at noon. walked about two miles to tunnel tree (California) ii then back to car. Pa took pictures left 2:20 went by Miama Lodge i Cederbrook Inn. ii Mormon Bar iii & camped at Mt View house. iv pushed up grade 3 times coming out

We have to wait at garage pa forgot on fast? we go out of Valley on the even ? & they come in on the odd so not to pass on grade. some climb to get out & then climb some more. well we can’t get anywhere staying in one place. We were over at “Yosemite Lodge” last n’t they had nice prog. singing & pictures feeling fine this morn. did not sleep very well afraid we would over sleep I guess. fine morn. Tues. morn, I am so disappointed we went to the big trees yes. & only one snow bank that nearly got me down I stumbled over a tree. I did not even get my feet wet. some trees. then we drove within 30 mi of Merced & camped. this morn. rolled in nice ride. feeling fine slept good last nt pa getting eats. Hope you are fine. Mother
