fixed frame with crow bar & went on 18 mi to Lakin, Kan. there old “Liz” went in garage first time 4:30 ready to roll on ($4.28) went to depot & sent bar back to Kendall. I went in camp & done a little dishpan wash (hot) & flies oh! glory. “Liz” ready 4 P.M. so we left town 4:30 went on within 6 mi Garden city Ray Tindall i where we drove in his barn & stayed all night rained in Kan. 35 mi
