Mary's Journal Entry
rode 30 miles on trail & 6 to Haha fish for breakfast. I stayed in camp the others all went thru caves & castle

I washed towels in the Ha Ha Tonka R. lame knee & slept 1 1/2 hr. folks back 12:30 gone four hr had lunch & left 2 p.m. got out & back on main road for which we were all very thankful men blew whistles & on toward Buffalo, Mo. we had blowout & found Bill & J waiting around the hills oh fierce roads so rocky & hills camped by a stream by the side of the road 20 miles from Buffalo all the Hill Billies going to church Bill & Ben went too J & I took bath & went to bed after only 20 miles on trail & 6 out of Ha Ha Tonka
