Mary's Journal Entry
Up early & started got about 20 rods & stalled in run men went after carberator & we got breakfast 1 thin slice bread 2 eggs & a slice & a half bacon. got started at 9 o’clock after men put in other carburator then it ran fine made Buffalo before noon on thru Bolivar Lockwood stopped & got oil overals & socks 17 miles from Campbell’s we went on had a blowout B & J come back after us got fixed up & rolled on got to Walter’s 7:30 they heard we were on the way they had threshers ate supper there then went to Harold’s Walter blew the whistle when he saw us coming 105 miles
