left camp pict 1 just 8. Fountain Geyser i & deep pools of clear hot water pict 4. see down 50 ft. all colors. Mammoth paint pot ii pict 2 (like a pot of mush boiling white pink one little yellow large mounds that were formed by paint bubbling out with steam coming out of top like chimney calcium & magnecia celica cooking) Clepsytra Geyser iii pict 3, spouting 3 spurts, Dome Geyser iv pict 5, Great Fountain Geyser v pict 6, like a steaming large pool terraced up did not go to Firehole lake vi afraid of mud. stopped and took pict 7 of little pool while there saw Dome spout 20 ft high. then on to “Excelsior Geyser” vii she blew her fool head & bottom out in 1888 but is a large hole of boiling blue water (1/2 acre) just a few steps from there was “Turkoise spring” viii on top is “Sprismatic Lake” ix 40 acres of water (hot believe me) great, great on to “Mirror pool” x and “biscuit pool” ximade of biscuits large & ? pict 8-16-25 B these pools 50 ft apart & such a difference in formation. on to “Sentinel Geyser” xii pict 9-10 there boiled eggs & cooled them in river. on to “Riverside Geyser” xiii pict no 1 (spouting) then “Rocket & Grotto” xiv pict 2 then “Punchbowl” xv pict 3 “Old Faithfull” xvi pict 4 & 5 & 6 7 & 8 was at handkerchief pool i rainbows spring ii&c &c “Sunset Lake” iii went & saw the bear feed pict 9. saw O.F. with flashlite on. then rolled in old “Ford” 17 mi
