B took pictures of camp & cedars

camped last night in a grand cedar grove level ground looks like a lake road peach orchard I slept well wind blew last night we had break. then boys looked over cars left camp 10:30 went over canyons then thru Coconino National forest then on thru mts stopped at Walnut Canyon the cliff dwellings & went down trail B took pictures reg. our names in register wonderful dwellings 4 cliffs high & both sides of canyon

ate dinner before going down trail went on the Flagstaff, Ariz on way stopped at the bottomless pit a hole in the ground the bottomless pit was in among rocks arrived at Flagstaff 4:30 lumber town on way between cliff dwellings & Flagstaff the flats were in oats & potatoes corn short & not much of it got gas at Flagstaff camped (after getting eats) in a charge camp (25) Ben tinkered car while Bill went after vegetables we had cooked carrots for supper oh they were good then unpacked Bill’s car & all got in went up ? to the Lowe Observatory & saw the telescope weight 6 tons

then Mr. ? took us in the Liberty & called our attention to the electric light which represented Mars with its rings then we saw photos of other planets & Halley’s Comet then went down, down to camp our camp friends turned auto lights on our camp so we could make our beds as soon as Ben climbed into bed they tho’t the show was over & out went the lights. this camp was fine, water, electric lights (but (?) our wood) 28 mi
